Anatomy & Physiology of Birth ~ May 24th
May 24th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Pregnancy and birth are a time when so much is changing – in our bodies, in our minds, in our hearts, and in our souls. As our growing child transforms, changes, and prepares to emerge, so too does our body and the whole of our being.
Join us for this Childbirth Education class where we will lean into the sacred nature of our changing anatomy and how it supports our growing baby and the process of birth.
Together we will explore that structures that support the process of pregnancy and birth and how they change throughout that journey. In addition, we’ll explore the stages of labor and process of birth so that we can better understand what to anticipate when labor arrives.
Kay brings to this class fun an interactive teaching tools including a homemade cloth uterus complete with the various layers of muscles, interior, changing cervix, and more! Join us for an embodied experience exploring the many ways our body supports the journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum healing.
This space is both educational and support oriented. Bring your questions, concerns, and places where you want to know more!
