Birth in the Age of COVID-19 ~ May 10th
May 10th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Join us for this special Mother’s Day class as we launch our new Birthing Mama Childbirth Education Series!
Right now, we find ourselves is the midst of one of the most confusing, trying, and overwhelming times to give birth. Over the course of the last few months so much of what we thought we knew – about life in general, but also about birth – has changed.
In these strange and new times, so much is changing in all facets of our lives. For people who are pregnant and preparing to birth, these times bring into the light so many changes, new fears, profound grief, and so many questions that we don’t yet have clear answers for.
Join us on Mother’s Day for our first Birthing Mama Childbirth Education Class! May 10th 6:30 – 8:30 pm on Zoom. Pre-registration is required to access the zoom link.
During class one we will be exploring COVID specific questions, guidance, fears, and the grief that is rising up for so many around changes to birth plans, postpartum plans, and plans for celebrating the upcoming birth and new child.
This space is both educational and support oriented. We will explore what we know about COVID-19 concerns, as well as your rights as a birthing person during these unprecedented times. We will also hold space for your questions, concerns, fears, and grief that is rising to the surface.
During this first class together, we will take time to honor the sacred journey of motherhood and parenting and explore what it means to give birth, be pregnant, or support birthers during the Age of Corona.
Join us as we begin this journey!
